After learning about the delays for both ScaleBound and Recore, it is nice to see that we may have a game that will ship earlier than we though. Originally reported by GameSpot, employees from Microsoft mentioned that the game could ship earlier than the original release date of Holiday 2016.
The new release date is now Fall 2016. Those of you who can’t wait to play the game will get a taste fairly soon – the multiplayer beta is scheduled for Spring 2016 and players who bought Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will be the first to try it out.
Speaking of the Ultimate Edition, Microsoft pointed out that 45% of people who played it were new to the series. The game was also recently confirmed to have sold well over a million copies during the Holiday 2015 shopping season. If you love Gears of War it seems that you are not alone.
