A new trailer was released for Fist of the North Star at Sony’s press conference during Tokyo Game Show this past Tuesday. At the end of the trailer Sega gives an update on when players can expect the game to release, February 22 2018.
This only seems to be a release date for Japan. There is no word on when the game will be heading to the West.
The game is being developed by Sega and the creators of the Yakuza series; and it will feature an completely new story written by the manga author Tetsuo Hara, who is also helping develop the game.
Fist of the North Star is about Kenshirou a martial artist who makes use of his deadly fighting style known as Hotuko Shinken, to track down his rival Shin who kidnapped his fiancé  Yuria.
