After a slow start with the 3DS and shockingly slow sales with the Wii U, you really can’t blame Nintendo for boasting a little. After almost a year on the market, the Nintendo Switch is the fastest selling video game console in the United States. Nintendo of America proudly made this announcement via Twitter:

The Switch no doubt benefited from a strong game lineup from the Big N including The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 2 and of course, Super Mario Odyssey. The Nintendo Switch launched in March of 2017.
As a longtime fan of Nintendo and its games, it is great to see that they have found their footing again. Let’s hope they keep the great games coming.
