So the August NPD numbers are in and it’s looking increasingly more bright for the Xbox One division. Madden NFL 16 came in at the top spot while 2 of Microsoft’s Xbox One exclusives dominated any other exclusive for the month.

With Rare Replay and Gears of War Ultimate dominating the UK charts and it taking up two spots in the top 10 for the month of August, Microsoft is in a pretty good position. Overall the gaming segment shrunk 2% over the previous year and it’s pretty obvious that the jump in Xbox One sales are keeping things relatively in the green.
