A nice little tweet from Platinum games today, displaying the image above and saying “Here is a Boost to help you through Wednesday” set the internet a buzz with speculation of what Platinum’s next game is going to be. As many know, the Xbox One exclusive Scalebound has been in development by Platinum Games and apparently they are working on another game to show at E3.
According to IGN, Platinum games will be debuting gameplay of an unannounced game on IGN daily live show on Tuesday June 16,2015. Also with a closer look at the photo posted today the jetpacks in the legs and the rocket sliding were key abilities of the Xbox 360 and PS3 game Vanguish, which was released in 2010 and also developed by Platinum Games

Vanquish was an over the top 3rd person shooter that had you battling gigantic robots while sliding, dashing and enabling slow motion to pick out the weak points. The game came out to a 84% Metacritic score on both Xbox 360 and PS3. Game Director Shinji Mikami, blended great story with fast pace crazy combat which lead to many epic moments. One could only wish to have an “Xbox, record that” feature back then. But hopefully if this game is being announced and shown next week, we can all be sharing our great “Xbox, record that moments” soon.
