Yesterday, we shared how a teaser website for the next Tomb Raider game had gone live. Today, we’ve got more information, as there’s a new teaser trailer, confirming the next game is in fact called Shadow of the Tomb Raider. It also confirms that the game’s leaked release date of September 14th, 2018 was in fact correct. The Shadow of the Tomb Raider teaser trailer isn’t very long however, it does provide some fascinating insights.

While there isn’t much to go from that teaser, the setting is certainly interesting. It also confirms we can look forward to a full reveal on April 27th, 2018. I’ve loved the reboot series, so I’m definitely looking forward to this. Launching in September should also help the game avoid some of the problems that Rise of the Tomb Raider ran into, as it puts it out just in front of the crowded fall. Shadow of the Tomb Raider releases for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on September 14th, 2018.
