It only took about ten years but we are finally getting a sequel to Q-Games’ PixelJunk Monsters. The game will be released on May 25th for the PS4, Switch and Steam. According to Kotaku, the game has a beautiful aesthetic with in-game objects appearing to be made of clay, wood and fabric. The developers have added the ability to zoom in on the environments with the camera so you can absorb just how pretty everything looks.
PixelJunk Monsters 2 is a tower defense game and is said to run at 60 frames per second on PS4. The game runs at thirty frames per second on Nintendo Switch. Both versions will include local co-op and an online mode which supports up to four players.
