Microsoft May Be Testing Xbox One Game Rentals

Microsoft may be testing a game rental program for Xbox One games according to an image recently posted on ResetEra.

The image below shows Forza Motorsport 7 on the Brazilian Xbox store. As you can see, there is an option to pay 69 Brazilian reals to rent the game for a 3-month period. This works out to about $21 USD for three months or $7 USD per month.

For the sake of comparison, a new release rental like Sea of Thieves from RedBox costs about $3 USD.

As with most rumors on the internet, take this with a grain of salt unless an official announcement is made.

Would you be open to a digital game rental service on your consoles? Let us know how you would feel about this.
