A longtime staple in Microsoft’s lineup of low cost feature phones has received a substantial upgrade and an attractive price. The new Nokia 105 announced today costs $20 for the base model and sports some interesting features such as a variant model that can run dual-SIM cards and a contact list that can store 2,000 entries.
Those accustomed to the latest smartphones won’t be too impressed with these features but the Nokia 105 is intended for users who are purchasing their first mobile phone or are looking for a backup line. Microsoft has noted that over 80 million Nokia 105 phones have been sold since 2013.
