One of the downsides of remastered games is that loyal fans are often put into the position of buying a game multiple times. Bethesda Softworks gets this and they’re helping out at least a few players who already own The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. There are a couple of catches though – You must own the game on PC along with all of the DLC or you must own the Legendary Edition. If you can meet these requirements then Bethesda will upgrade you to the Special Edition for free.

People who own the game on consoles are unfortunately left out of this deal. However, it is nice to see a company do something to take the sting out of buying a remaster for at least some people.
