Perhaps it is a pricing error or maybe it is a quiet promotion. Either way the first chapter of King’s Quest is free for both the Xbox One and the Xbox 360. It probably has something to do with the fact that the rest of the season is currently on sale for $$22.49. Whatever the case may be, it is a great way to try the game out for yourself and see how you like the story. At the very least, achievement hunters will like the easy boost for their gamerscore.
King’s Quest is a reimagining of the classic (and much beloved) point-and-click adventure game series originally made popular on PCs throughout the 80s and 90s.
