Sony have revealed that there will be a demo for Gran Turismo Sport. However, this demo will only be available for four days. The trial period will last from October 9th to October 12th.
This demo gives players access to Sport, Arcade, Campaign, and Scapes Photography modes. Sport mode has players complete a qualifying lap before competing with others of similar skill. In Arcade mode, players can practice racing around various tracks in preset cars. Arcade mode also offers splitscreen multiplayer. Campaign mode allows players to tackle a variety of tests and trials and offers credits, experience points, and even vehicles as rewards. All vehicles and credits will carry over to the full game, giving players a chance to get a head start.
The demo also shows off the game’s Livery Editor. This function allows players to modify the appearance of their car with logos. They can also use it to change the colour of the car or change various parts such as mirrors and wheels.
PS Plus members can download the demo early on October 7th, though it will not be playable until the 9th. Everyone else will need to wait until the 9th before they can download it and start playing. The game itself releases in North America on October 17, 2017. It will then be available in Europe the next day, with Japan receiving the game the day after that.
