We are in the few remaining days of June and that means it is time to find out what goodies Xbox Live Gold subscribers can expect from Games with Gold next month. I know that lots of you just want to see the list of games so let’s get to it, shall we?
Leading the pack and probably the most impressive selection this month for most people is The Banner Saga 2. If you have played through the first game in the series on Xbox One then your choices will carry over to this new entry. You can play this game on July 1st.
The first day of July also brings us Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2. The other Rainbow Six Vegas game on Xbox 360 was a Games with Gold title quite some time ago so it is nice to finally round out the series.
On July 16th Microsoft will bring us Tumblestone for Xbox One. A matching puzzle game with both multiplayer and story modes. Yeah.
The final game for July is Tron: Evolution. This is a surprising entry for Games with Gold and part of me wonders if this was a low cost grab to cover the expense of The Banner Saga 2 being included on launch day.
As usual, the Xbox 360 games will be playable on Xbox One via backwards compatibility.
