Final Fantasy is no doubt one of gaming’s most beloved franchises and the hype train is in full swing for the latest installment. Square Enix provided more details about the upcoming versions of Final Fantasy XV that will hit stores this year.
The current trend of Day One edition continues with Final Fantasy XV ($60) that includes:
- Final Fantasy XV
- Masamune weapon
- Two Xbox Live Avatars, Noctis Special Outfit and Carbuncle pet (Xbox preorder bonus)
- Dynamic PS4 theme (PS4 pre-order bonus)
Preorders for any edition done through the Square Enix store also come with a bonus postcard set. Of course, check with any of your local retailers for extra bonus content.
The $90 Deluxe Edition comes with:
- Final Fantasy XV
- Steelbook cover illustrated by Yoshitaka Amano
- Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy on Blu-ray
- Royal Raiment outfit
- Masamune weapon
- Platinum Leviathan car skin
And the crème de la crop is no doubt the $270 Ultimate Collector’s Edition. Only 30,000 will be produced, and is available exclusively through the Square Enix store. This monstrosity includes:
- Final Fantasy XV
- Steelbook cover illustrated by Yoshitaka Amano
- Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy on Blu-ray
- Brotherhood: Final Fantasy on Blu-ray
- Soundtrack
- Play Arts Kai Noctis figure

There’s already a waiting list for the Ultimate Collector’s Edition, but preorders are up for the remaining versions. Final Fantasy XV will release this September.
