A tweet from manga author Hiro Mashima sheds some light on when The Fairy Tail will return.
The tweet says the final season of The Fairy Tail will air in 2018. Hiro Mashima also said that the English version for the final season will also air in 2018 as well.
Fairy tail is in its last days with only one chapter left of the manga. It is only fitting that since the latest movie Fairy Tail Dragon Cry has released and with only one chapter remaining to bring the anime back to finish off this series with a bang!
