With the release of Dying Light: The Following, it would have seemed we would not have seen any news about more DLC for Dying due to the new story arc, location and game mechanis that introduced the dune buggy. However, Techland CEO Pawel Marchewka has released an open letter to the players.
“To make sure that every new or veteran player gets all the fun they deserve, we have decided to continue our support for Dying Light at least till the end of this year,” Marchewka said. “We are already working on new unannounced content, so stay tuned for our future news.”
Marchewka said due to the positive feedback from the Following DLC, it encouraged the team to dedicate itself to Dying Light for another year. Dying Light originally came out back in January of 2015 with the expansion coming out just last week. Dying Light has a 9/10 on Steam and an 8.2/10 from GameStop with The Following DLC having a 4/5 on Metacritic and a 80% on PC Gamer.
Since the team will release new content this year, it’s exciting to speculate on what the team will do next.
