This weekend at Blizzard unveiled the next entry in the popular Diablo franchise. Diablo IV is set years after the events of Diablo III. After the death of millions the world is slowly rebuilding as people face some dark times. Just when you think the people of Sanctuary will have a normal life, a new evil appears.
Diablo IV will feature an open world that will allow players to seamlessly play between five different areas. Blizzard had this to say about the open world atmosphere of Diablo IV:
“Mount up and roam from zone to zone completing public events with others or explore populated town social hubs to party up and trade. Challenge a world boss or even other players for treasure and glory! The world, along with its deadly inhabitants, awaits.”
Currently only three of the five classes have been revealed. Players can use the The Barbarians strength, The Druids shifting forms, and The Sorceress’s arcane powers to destroy evil. More information will be released through the weekend on these characters along with more on the actual gameplay. My wallet is already prepared to purchase this game when it is released.
