During a recent event, it was revealed that Attack on Titan’s third season will begin airing at some point in July, 2018. Along with the release period for the upcoming season, a new image was shown that you can check out below. The image comes courtesy of a tweet from the show’s official Japanese Twitter account.

A compilation film was also announced at the event. “The Roar of Awakening” will cover the events of season 2. Check out the promotional trailer and poster below.
The schedule information for the new season is welcomed, especially since fans won’t have to wait two years like they did for the second season. From the looks of the image, the third season will be on a completely different level than the second.
