Attack on Titan 2 has been announced by Koei Tecmo. This hack and slash title will be heading to Europe and North America in early 2018. The game is still in development and will not release in Japan until 2018 either.
The game will follow up from the previous title, Attack on Titan: Wings of Freedom. From the trailer, it appears it will go through the second season that aired earlier this year.
It is being developed by Omega Force, the studio that’s behind the Dynasty Warriors series.
The game will also have new mechanics, though players will still be able to move around the environment with the Omni-Directional Maneuver Gear. We have no other details at the moment on what new features the game will offer. However, Koei Tecmo states that more information should surface in the coming weeks.
Check out the announcement trailer below. While it is just a teaser, it does use in-engine graphics.
