Aksys Games is Bringing Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st] to North America

Aksys Games has had a lot of projects in the works as of late and it seems that the team is still not letting up. Late last year, the publisher released BlazBlue Central Fiction, the sequel to BlazBlue Chronophantasma Extend. This year they also had Guilty Gear Xrd: Rev 2, an expansion that added two new characters and balance changes to the base game. To top it all off, Aksys had one more fighting project to show off at Anime Expo 2017: a new installment in the Under Night In-Birth franchise.

The new game will be titled Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st]. Releasing in Japan on July 20th, the latest Under Night game will be exclusive to PlayStation devices like previous entries in the series. Although the game is currently out right now in Japanese arcades, this console release will offer new content such as balance updates, new characters, tutorials and mission modes.

American fans will have to wait a little longer to get a hold of the game, I’m afraid. The North American version won’t release until late 2017, which usually means the holidays. If you’re in the LA area, then you might just be able to get early access to the game at Anime Expo 2017.
