Anno 1800 Release Date Pushed Back

The game that lets a player live through the industrial revolution is getting its release date pushed back. Anno 1800 will now be coming out on April 16th. The game developer Blue Byte needed these extra weeks to make the game better for the players. Blue Byte had this to say about needing that extra time:

“We are very happy with where the game and its wide mix of new and classic features are today, but we know that it can be even better with a little additional polish and tuning. These extra weeks will allow us to deliver a game that fully lives up to its potential.”

One good sign is that a closed beta is coming at the end of January. Ubisoft even released a trailer for players to enjoy and maybe register in the beta.

Players can still register for the beta. This beta will last from January 31st through February 4th. One of the nice things that Blue Byte and Ubisoft are doing is making this beta open for players to share their journeys. That means this closed beta will not have the NDA that most have.

If you’re interested in this game check out the Anno Union. This is the place to go to talk to the developers and other players about the game. The game is available to pre-purchase on Steam.
