With Total War: Three Kingdoms on the way as the next big Total War game, it’s going to be a bit before we see Total War: Warhammer III. Even so, players are getting more unique stuff to play around with, as the Total War: Warhammer II – Curse of the Vampire Coast DLC has been announced. This DLC adds the Vampire Coast faction, a group of Undead Lords with sea monsters at their disposal.

Here’s everything this DLC pack adds:
- 4 new Legendary Lords
- New School of Magic: The Lore of the Deep
- A suite of all-new campaign mechanics
- Unique upgradeable ships for each Legendary Lord
- Eight new Regiments of Renown
- Unique tech tree unlocking four unique Vampire Coast Lords
- Reward your undead Admirals with new Fleet Office Roles befitting their loyalty
- New roster: command towering constructs, ghastly pincered sea-beasts, ghoulish horrors and musket-wielding piratical zombie hordes in battle!
- Vampire Coast factions are playable in the Eye of the Vortex and Mortal Empires campaigns. They are not involved with the race for the Great Vortex however; they have agendas of their own…
This is an interesting addition to the game and this faction plays very differently from any others. In addition to the new faction, this DLC also adds battles on islands and Dark Elf Black Arks, changing up the available battlefields. The list of Legendary Lords and roster of units has not yet been announced.
