The week of delays has claimed another victim. In a week where in one sweeping motion, we have seen Shenmue III, Metro Exodus and a major 2K title be delayed into 2019. The latest victim of this week is Ubisoft’s pirate game Skull and Bones which we saw announced at E3 last year, but had not heard many details after the debut. The game has officially been moved to an unannounced date in 2019. This delay should surprise no one, however, there is no doubt we will see more of this game at Ubisoft’s E3 presser as well as a potential release window. We are eagerly waiting to see what Ubisoft could bring to the pirate genre, as it would be joining Rare’s Sea of Thieves in a genre that has huge potential.
