The next Forza will be revealed at Microsoft’s E3 2018 press conference according to Fernanda Delgado, head of the Xbox team in Spain and Portugal. The reveal was made during a conversation with Gamereactor and Delgado did indicate that the new game will be Forza Horizon 4.
This is not unexpected news – Forza is an annual franchise with the Motorsport and Horizon games alternating every year. Delgado did not specify the location of the next Horizon festival but fan speculation on websites like ResetEra point to Japan. Previous locations within the Forza Horizon series include the state of Colorado, southern Europe and Australia. ““There have been many speculations about where the next Forza Horizon will be and that is what we will tell later at E3,” said Delgado.
While Forza Motorsport is closer to a racing simulation game, the Forza Horizon series offers an open world experience with hidden secrets, seamless online play and most recently, the ability to create and share your own race events.
