During this year’s Gamescom event, Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for the upcoming anime crossover Jump Force. In the trailer are the new characters that have been added to the game. Let’s start off with the characters from One Piece. We have Sabo, Blackbeard, and Sanji. Next up are the two characters from Hunter x Hunter, Gon and Hisoka and last but not least Vegeta from Dragon Ball Z. So without further ado let’s jump into the trailer below.

Though most of these characters was revealed last week sue to a leaked scan, Sabo from One Piece is a big surprise. Also if you pay close attention to the trailer at the end, it seems that players may also be able to create their own character.
Why is this you ask? Well look at 1:17 on the trailer and you will see a character with long hair wearing a straw hat. At first you can easily dismiss it as Shanks from One Piece, however the words “A New Hero Arises” appearing before the image further leads me to this scenario. As for now this is just my theory, so take it with a grain of salt until Bandai Namco releases a statement.
With these new added characters, we now have 15 characters: Luffy, Sanji, Zoro, Black Beard, Sabo, Naruto, Sasuke, Gon, Hisoka, Ichigo, Aizen, Rukia, Goku, Vegeta and Frieza.

Jump Force is set to release next year for the Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
