Spyro Reignited, the highly anticipated remasters of the original Spyro trilogy has unfortunately been delayed. Originally set to release September 21st, 2018, the game is now set to release November 13th, 2018. In a blog post the developers, Toys For Bob explained why they had to push the release date back.
“Everyone here at Toys for Bob is so proud to be reigniting the original Spyro trilogy after all these years. We’re deeply committed to getting these games right, so we’ve decided to move the release date of Spyro Reignited Trilogy to November 13, 2018. I really hoped that you would be rescuing dragons and scorching Rhynocs sooner, but the Trilogy needs more love and care. In November when you’re exploring the Dragon Realms, Avalar, and the Forgotten Worlds, we know you’ll agree the extra time was worth the wait.”
While many were excited about this upcoming trilogy, developers having more time to polish the game is never a bad thing. Spyro Reignited looks amazing from what we have seen, and it can only get better with time. Here is hoping that this delay gives the team the time they need to make this project truly special.
Spyro’s back and he’s all scaled up! Same sick burns, same smoldering attitude, now all scaled up in stunning HD.
