A mysterious user on Reddit recently leaked the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arrival to Injustice 2. Days later, those characters are confirmed to be in the game. So I guess you could say that the user DasVergeben has some amazing sources. This person is now stating in a Reddit post that some sorely missed characters are coming to Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite.
These characters are actually some of those Marvel characters that had been left out due to the movie licensing deals that are in place. With Fox having the rights to the X-Men characters, we didn’t get them when the game was first released since Disney doesn’t want to promote those characters. We published an article all about that. In the new post the mystery user clams that:
Here’s where things get really interesting. All the characters that I’ve heard that are in development (to various extents and from multiple sources, but not all saying the same things I might add, which is something strange in and of itself) include: Star-Lord, Ms. Marvel, Green Goblin, Wolverine, Cyclops, Psylocke, Magneto, Storm, Deadpool, Doctor Doom, Daredevil, Asura, Lady, Gill, Rashid, Captain Commando, Nina, Deis, Regina, Gene, Vergil, Akuma, and Apollo Justice.
In the rest of the post the user goes into detail about a few other games. We don’t usually post articles about rumors yet the idea that I could play Wolverine again on Marvel vs Capcom is a great thing. Even Deadpool and some more X-Men would be great. So I suggest you do what I’m going to do with this rumor. I’m going to enjoy the idea and just continue on with my day.
