The Demon Slayer manga has finally ended. Some fans of the series are wondering what will be next for the author of the series, Koyohau Gotouge? Well in the latest issue of the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine that released on May 17th, they have announced that the series will indeed get a spinoff. The spinoff will be titled Kimetsu no Yaiba: Rengoku Gaiden. The story will center around the flame Hashira Rengoku Kyojuro. At this moment we have no information on when the spin-off will release, but we will update you as soon as more information becomes available.
The Demon Slayer franchise took over the industry in what seemed to happen overnight. As it has sold over 60 million physical and digital copies. It overtook the giant known as One Piece in Japan as its current most popular series. Even though I’m sure One Piece will reclaim its top spot now that the series is over. The series also has a film that will be released this year that will cover the train arc of the series that will center around the flame Hashira Rengoku.
So let us know in the comment section below are you excited for the Rengoku Gaiden Spin-off or would you rather a sequel spin-off that continues the story of the beloved series?
