Well, better late than never as it seems like Minecraft is finally coming to the Wii U soon. The incredibly popular game has been rated by PEGI for the console.
Something interesting to note is the release date, which is today. Nintendo is doing a “Nintendo Direct” today so it is likely that they could announce the game there and then immediately release it.
Minecraft has been released on practically every modern gaming device, so it was only a matter time of before it reached the house that Mario built. Rumors had it that Notch had previously shut down the idea of Minecraft coming to Nintendo systems, so that is most likely why the game is just now coming to Nintendo. It will be very odd to see Microsoft publishing a game on a Nintendo console, but it’s nice to see that Nintendo fans will finally get to see what the hype is all about.
