World War Z has taken the zombie video game genre to a whole new level. By capturing the fans of the Left 4 Dead franchise, co-op zombie play has never been better. Saber Interactive has done an amazing job with the game and it seems they’re not content with leaving it alone just yet. Saber Interactive has revealed the free content roadmap for the game starting this month and will span all the way through to July.
- In May players will see a new zombie integrated into the game that spits deadly venom. The new zombie will also have the ability to resurrect if not taken out properly so make sure that it’s dead or else. Also in May players will see a new mission that will be set in Tokyo.
- In June there will be a new Extreme difficulty added that when completed will award players with a unique reward as well as cosmetic items.
- In July players can expect new weapons and a Weekly challenge mode.
Saber Interactive has also stated that there are more features to come. Such as a new survival game mode, private lobbies, FOV (Field of View) sliders, level of detail options (PC only) and one of my favorite updates is the ability to switch classes during PVP matches.
