If Nintendo is not going to give us a proper Starfox game then maybe Ubisoft will. The Big N has allowed Ubisoft to add Fox McCloud and his Starfox crew to the upcoming toys-to-life game Starlink: Battle for Atlas. And what better way for Nintendo to demonstrate their faith than sending Shigeru Miyamoto himself to make an appearance at Ubisoft’s press conference? The creative genius was presented a gift – a copy of the Arwing toy mounted to a special display. That’s right, there will be a Starfox toy to use while playing Starlink.
Unfortunately, Fox & crew will only be available for the Nintendo Switch version of the game. Xbox One and PS4 owners will still be able to play the game sans Fox.
Starlink: The Battle for Atlas will be available for all the current consoles on October 16th. Check out the trailer below:
