Hiroaki Samura’s Blade of the Immortal will be getting a new anime adaptation and this time it will be a complete adaptation of the series according to the website. The manga originally received an anime way back in 2008. As far as the manga goes, a sequel series has been announced titled Blade of the Immortal – Bakumatsu Arc which will launch on May 25th in Kodansha’s Monthly Afternoon magazine so make sure to be on the lookout for that.
