Gears of War Limited Edition Console And New Kinect Bundle Announced

It’s the fourth day of Xbox One bundle announcements and those little rascals at Microsoft surprised us by announcing two bundles today. The first is a limited edition Gears of War bundle. For $349 USD you get a 500GB Cirrus White Xbox One console with matching controller, a download code for Gears of War: Ultimate Edition, a Superstar Cole multiplayer character skin and early access to the Gears of War 4 beta in the spring of 2016. This bundle is a Walmart exclusive and will only be available in the US .

The Xbox One with Kinect bundle gets a facelift.

It seems as if the Xbox One Kinect bundle has received a facelift. For the same $499 price tag as the original Kinect bundle you will now receive download codes for Dance Central Spotlight, Kinect Sports Rivals and Zoo Tycoon. To the best of our knowledge there are no major studios currently developing Kinect games and there are very few- if any- indie Kinect games releasing in the near future. This makes the Kinect bundle a tough sell at full price unless you really like the idea of using voice commands, Cortina and Skype on your console.

The Kinect bundle will be available later this month while the Gears of War bundle goes on sale in November. Don’t forget that there will be one more bundle announced tomorrow. What do you think it will be?
