Today on the Destiny Year Two livestream, it was announced that Michael Chaves aka OpTic Flamesword will be competing in the first ever Destiny PvP Exhibition during the upcoming livestream on August 22.
Flamesword will be heading to the Red Bull eSports studio where he will be competing in one of Destiny’s upcoming new Crucible modes, “Rift.”
The event will be hosted by none other than Bungie’s Community Manager, David “DeeJ” Dague, and Crucible Design Lead, Lars Bakken. Also alongside Flamesword, other Destiny community members such as ding Holtzmann, nKuch, Datto, Mtashed, KJHovey, and Flamesword’s guests Clout, FizZoR and tripleWRECK will also be competing.
Created and produced by the Red Bull media house and broadcasting from the Red Bull eSports Studio located in Santa Monica, the livestream will start on Saturday, August 22 at 10:00 am PT / 1:00 pm ET on the Red Bull eSports Channel on Twitch, http://www.twitch.tv/redbullesports
If you want to get your hands on the new Crucible mode, “Rift,” alongside many other new modes, you can pick up Destiny: The Taken King when it launches on September 15, 2015 on both Xbox One and Xbox 360.
