The second entry in the “EA Originals” lineup is arriving to the Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC just next month. For those unaware of Fe, it is an action-adventure video game created by indie development team Zoink. EA is publishing it as part of the “EA Originals” program; this is set up to help indie developers garner support from EA as a publisher. It certainly is an interesting direction the company’s taking when compared to what one may usually suspect, and it will be just as interesting to see the end result. While it has been said that the game will come out in early 2018, the recent Nintendo Direct Mini had confirmed that the date will specifically be February 16th. The game has often been compared favorably to Journey and Shadow of the Colossus as it was demonstrated at E3 and Gamescom. February 16th is merely over a month away, so the wait for Fe won’t be much longer anymore. After the couple years it has been known about, here’s to hoping that Fe will continue to impress after it has been released to the public.
