Bryan Singer talks about a potential X-Men/ Fantastic Four crossover

So, If you hadn’t noticed, crossover movies are a big deal in Hollywood at the moment. Rake in lots of cash, make fans happy, have more characters to work with. What’s wrong with that? Well it looks like another comic-book film universe could be merging soon according to the X-Men director Bryan Singer.

In an interview with Yahoo Movies, Singer spoke about the potential of bringing the two teams together. When asked whether he had plans with Simon Kinberg to make an X-Men/Fantastic Four crossover he replied:

“Those ideas are in play,” he says. “That would be a natural match-up because they’re both ensemble films and there is a natural mechanism by which to do it.”

Obviously cautious about giving anything away, he did add that:

“It deals with time. That’s all I’m going to say.”

He mentions that a crossover would also depend very much on the success of X-Men: Apocalypse and the Fantastic Four reboot. Fantastic Four comes out on August 7th of this year, however, if it’s X-Men: Apocalypse you are itching for then you’ll be waiting until May 27th, 2016.

The Rouge Cut of X-Men: Days of Future Past goes on sale July 27th, and for all your movie, TV and gaming news, stay right here on TiCGN.
