All of you RPG lovers who own a Nintendo Switch are in for a treat this week with the release of SteamWorld Quest: Hand of Gilgamech on the 25th via the eShop. The wonderful people over at Image & Form Games have published a launch trailer which you can watch below:
SteamWorld Quest is a turn-based RPG with some gorgeous steampunk visuals and the quirky humor that the SteamWorld franchise is known for. Combat is handled through decks of cards that you craft and build yourself.
What awaits you is a luscious treasure chest filled with gold, dragons, vivid worlds, magic, knights in shining armor as well as XP, turn-based combat and all the usuals that RPG fans love! The mix of traditional fantasy and bantering steam-driven robots makes for an unforgettable experience with lots of laughs. – Image & Form Games
The game will be a digital eShop exclusive for the Switch right now but a physical release will come later this year. You can also expect SteamWorld Quest to make its way to PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One – hopefully some time in 2019.
