Three Titles Added To Nintendo Selects Lineup For 3DS

It isn’t every day that you hear the words “Nintendo” and “big discount” in the same sentence but it happened today. The Big N has added three games for the 3DS to the Nintendo Selects lineup. First up is the 3DS exclusive The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. That game is a sequel to the beloved A Link to the Past which first appeared over twenty-five years ago on the SNES. A Link Between Worlds retains the old top-down perspective of classic Zelda games with a new mechanic – Link can merge with walls and move about. This ability really added a twist to both the Overworld and dungeon designs.

Next up is Super Mario 3D Land which was released way back in 2011. If for some reason you haven’t played this one yet then it is worth checking out at the lower price.

And finally we have Ultimate NES Remix, a crazy collection of mini-games based on classic NES titles.

All three of these games now have a reduced MSRP of $19.99. That may not seem like much of a discount when compared to other game publishers but Nintendo’s core games tend to stay at full price for a long time.
