Telltale’s The Walking Dead: The Final Season Trailer Revealed

Telltale Games has been around for years however, it was with the release and positive reception of Telltale’s The Walking Dead that they really entered the spotlight. Three full seasons and a spinoff later, we’ve finally got our first look at how it’ll all end with Telltale’s The Walking Dead: The Final Season trailer.

Additionally, Telltale Games has confirmed that the first episode of The Walking Dead: The Final Season will release on August 14th, 2018. Pre-orders for the game will open on June 8th. If you pre-order on PS4 or Xbox One, you’ll receive The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection, which means you’ll get every prior season for free.

PC players who pre-order will receive 10% off except those who pre-order through the Microsoft Store, who’ll instead receive the first season of Telltale’s The Walking Dead for free.

Telltale Games also detailed more information about the game, such as new graphics that take advantage of 4K HDR displays, unscripted combat and a new over-the-shoulder camera. They also shared some interesting information about the story:

So what’s in store in The Final Season? Well… after years on the road facing threats both living and dead, a secluded school might finally be Clementine’s chance for a home. But protecting it will mean sacrifice. Clem must build a life and become a leader while still watching over AJ, an orphaned boy and the closest thing to family she has left. In this gripping, emotional final season, you will define your relationships, fight the undead, and determine how Clementine’s story ends.

Between The Walking Dead: The Final Season and The Wolf Among Us Season 2, Telltale is continuing its output of strong games over the next year.
