With the game recently going gold, we’re now getting our first look at the game case for Halo 5: Guardians.
The front of the game’s case has been known for a while, depicting Master Chief and Agent Locke staring eachother down while an ominous forerunner monster looms in the background. But this is the first we’re seeing of the back of the case; Spartan Locke and his team of Spartans is accompanied with a familiar face to long-time Halo fans, the Arbiter! The Arbiter appeared in special cutscenes located in last year’s Halo 2 remaster where he’s seen speaking to Locke, so it looks like we’ll be seeing more of the fan favorite Elite as he helps Locke track down Master Chief.
The back also prominently displays the game’s two main multiplayer modes, arena and warzone. Arena is classic style Halo gameplay based on small maps that has various competitive game modes. Warzone is an all new mode where two teams face off in large scale battles accompanied and fighting AI enemies like the Covenant and Forerunners.
Fans will finally be able to get their hands on Halo 5: Guardians on October 27, only on Xbox One.
