Nintendo of America has announced that they are bringing a Splatoon 2 themed Pro Controller to North America. This is the same one previously announced in other regions. In addition to pink and green handles, a dark splatter pattern and brand logos from Splatoon cover the main portion. The device will be available on the same day as the game.

A while back, Nintendo announced a Splatoon 2 bundle for Europe and Japan. This bundle includes a Nintendo Switch and the game itself. While the European version includes red and blue Joy-Con controllers, the Japanese version comes with pink and green versions. The Japanese bundle sold out fast, but Nintendo did begin selling the box by itself for collectors.
Alongside the bundle announcement, they also revealed a new selection of Splatoon 2 themed accessories. Among these were those pink and green Joy-Con controllers as well as this Pro Controller.
Nintendo of America has not created any bundles for the Switch as they want to “let the consumer decide what games they want to buy.” Of course, that hasn’t stopped retailers from selling bundles of their own. Still, as NoA have not decided to bring this one over, it seems they are sticking to this policy. They have yet to comment on the other accessories that were part of the initial reveal.
Splatoon 2 launches worldwide on July 21, 2017.
