Players who are looking forward to the chance to play MLB The Show 20 early have the perfect chance. Starting in January players who sign up will have the chance to play in the closed beta. You have until 11:59 PM pacific time on January 2nd to sign up for this closed beta. Clicking this link will take you to the signup site.
Players who decide to sign up will be able to download the beta starting on January 13th, a notification will show u in the Playstation Notifications menu. Since this is a closed beta, don’t post or share any gameplay. Doing so will get you banned from future events. Players will also have a special forum that will be open for players to give any feedback on the closed beta. The stats from this beta will not carry over to the launch of the game. Everyone will start fresh once the game launches on March 17th, 2020.
This is one of the last times that this game will available only on a Playstation console. Recently it was announced that starting in the near future the game will be moving to multiple consoles. This has angered some fans, while the rest of us are ecstatic at the chance to play MLB The Show on other consoles.
