Update- All issues were fixed. The update has been applied to the game.
Due to an issue found out by a player, the Sea of Thieves Heart of Fire update that was planned for March 11th will not be happening. This was just announced minutes ago on the Sea of Thieves Twitter account.
Due to an issue discovered by our Insiders, the Heart of Fire update will no longer be launching on March 11th as originally planned.
We will share information regarding a new release date for this update within 24 hours. This does not affect your current Voyages.

No reason was given other than what you read in the tweet. We won’t know more until they announce it within the 24 hrs that they have given in the tweet. This really sucks for those gamers who were looking to play in the new story. The Heart of Fire when it does launch will be a new tall tale that continues the story of Sir Arthur Pendragon. I was really excited to see the new weapons that are being released. Stay tuned for any updates and 2K games are going to work with the NFL to make games again.
