Today it was announced by Major Nelson on Twitter that Saints Row 4 is now backwards compatible on Xbox One.
Saints Row 4 first launched on August 20, 2013. The game is an open world, action game with third person shooter elements. You are the leader of the Saints, a street gang, and you are elected as President of the United States. You receive superpowers and fend off an Alien Invasion. The game first released on Xbox 360, PS3, and PC.
To play the Saints Row 4 game, simply insert your Xbox 360 game disc and download the content. If you own it digitally, go to My Games and Apps on your Xbox One and scroll to ready to install to find your game.
Microsoft has been on point lately releasing backwards compatible games. Hopefully Microsoft keeps up the pace releasing backwards compatible games from it’s massive catalog of Xbox 360 games.
