The Resident Evil series has been making a fierce comeback to the forefront of horror since the release of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard in 2017. Since then, the Resident Evil 2 remake has been released to strong success, with post-launch DLC support. If you’ve been waiting to play some Resident Evil games on the go with your Nintendo Switch, we’ve got great news, because Resident Evil 0, 1 and 4 are coming to Nintendo Switch.
The announcement was made on Twitter:
Resident Evil 0, 1, and 4 are coming to Nintendo Switch eShop on May 21!
Play all three masterpieces anywhere, such as:
– On trains 🚆
– During mansion tours 🏰
– Across the European countryside 🌄Pre-orders start on Feb 28! pic.twitter.com/BCzatyoUhU

All three of these games (but Resident Evil 4 in particular) have been ported to countless different platforms, so it’s good to see them arrive on the Switch. The phrasing of this announcement seems to indicate that these games will not be available physically for the Nintendo Switch.
