Ubisoft announced the resolution of the Beta which is currently available to select testers until October 1st. In a FAQ on their website Ubisoft confirmed that the upcoming Tom Clancy game, will run at 900p on Xbox One. They did however confirm that they will continue to push the hardware and software optimization of the engine to achieve the ‘best overall experience for all players’
“We’re still looking to push the hardware as much as possible in order to deliver a quality experience for players and will be able to share more about the final resolution once we’re closer to release date,”
Ubisoft also announced that their upcoming team based game will not feature a story mode or a single player campaign. This comes after Activision announced that the last generation versions of Call of Duty will not feature a campaign or much of the features that the new generation will have.
“There is no story mode per se, You go through training, where you get to experience different operators and their devices. You can play against enemy AI in co-op through all the maps. You can customize matches, so that’s what we’re offering on the single-player side of things.”
The game will have scenario based missions and will require you to work in teams, much like Evolve did earlier. The beta is currently available to play, and if you applied for the limited beta, you should have received your key via mail.
Rainbow Six Siege will launch this holiday on Xbox One and other platforms.
