Rainbow Six Siege is always getting new updates bringing in new operators, maps and content for players to enjoy. However, thanks to an update today, Rainbow Six Siege players will have a brand new event to dive into over the next few weeks. Starting on July 2nd all the way till July 16th, players will be able to play a brand new 3v3 Western mode called “Showdown”.
What is Showdown you might ask? Its a 3v3 Secure Area mode on the brand new map called “Fort Truth”. Operators will be limited to only 2 weapons, the BOSG 12.2 and the Magnum LFP586 will be the only firearms available. The mode also features a limited hud, as well as no preparation stage, which means players will be plunged right into the action. As a part of this event, there will be 31 limited cosmetics as a part of this event and you will receive a free Showdown Collection pack simply for signing into the game. It’s a Showdown at Fort Truth! Play a brand new 3v3 Secure Area map in this limited time in-game event from July 2-16. Your posse of three will face off against another trio to overtake the ruins of Fort Truth and its mountain of gold.
