Last month Press Play, the Microsoft owned studio behind Max: The Curse of Brotherhood, launched a competition where fans could vote for three ideas that would become Press Play’s next game. Well, the fans have voted and Project: Knoxville has been chosen as their next game.
Project: Knoxville is a Hunger Games-like third person, multiplayer action game that will have players forming alliances and rivalries with each other in a game show setting.
Press Play will be doing a unique open development process for the game which will have fans along for the whole ride. They will start doing weekly Twitch streams about the development of the game starting on September 17th and fans can currently sign-up to join the development/be the first to play the game.
Project: Knoxville will most likely be an Xbox One exclusive with the chance of it coming to PC through Windows 10.
