Car enthusiasts will sigh in relief after Microsoft and EA signed a deal that will allow Porsche to feature in existing and upcoming Forza games. Microsoft have already announced the Forza Horizon 2 Porsche Car Pack which will be available soon.
For years Porsche was a stalwart of the Need for Speed franchise. All other racing games including Driveclub and Project Cars used the RUF brand for cars such as the 911 Turbo and Carrera. The move isn’t surprising after the relationship between Microsoft and EA became even more pronounced with the launch of EA Access on Xbox One. The service gives subscribers early access to upcoming EA games and some for free.
The Forza Horizon 2 Porsche pack will include 10 new Porsche vehicles, 10 Bucket List Events, 10 Rivals Events and 15 new achievements for you to unlock. The expansion will set you back $10.
The list of cars available in the new expansion:
- 1970 Porsche 914/6
