The World of Tanks beta will be live on July 11th and July 12th and you’re invited to join in the mayhem. You can maximize your play time during the beta by pre-loading the game on Friday, July 10th and it turns out that there are a few bonuses for playing in the beta that you can carry over to the release version of the game.
Just logging in to the game during the beta period will get you a premium American Tier 3 M22 Locust light tank. If you already have this tank then you will receive 180,000 silver and a garage slot. There will also be a double XP boost in effect during the beta and you will also get a 2X battle operation that will be reserved for future use.
There is one more bonus for players who pre-load the game before the official July 28th release date. This will be an American tier II T1E6-X1 light tank with custom camouflage skin.
World of Tanks is a free-to-play MMO game that is currently available on Xbox 360 and Windows. The Xbox One version will feature cross-buy and cross-platform play with the Xbox 360 version. An Xbox Live Gold subscription is required to play World of Tanks but there will be a seven day trial version available for non-subscribers.
